Le Cordon Bleu London’s head of pâtisserie, Chef Julie Walsh, will appear alongside celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo for ITV’s Let’s Do Lunch With Gino & Mel programme. Attracting approximately 1 million viewers per episode, Let’s Do Lunch With Gino & Mel presents simple home cooking recipes alongside celebrity chef features.
Chef Julie will apply techniques taught on our Grand Diplôme and Diplôme de Pâtisserie courses to create an impressive three-colour bow from sugar, before Gino will attempt to recreate one element of the display live on air.
Chef Julie has in the past been commissioned for other high profile events, including designing the 100th birthday cake for the Queen Mother and the sugar showpiece for Philip Treacy’s ‘Eat the Designer’ event.
