Le Cordon Bleu London was in attendance at this year’s London Book Fair, which took place on the 16th to 18th of April at Earls Court. The exhibition - now in its 41st year - attracted 1500 international exhibitors from the publishing and literature industry, with 400 seminars and events taking place over three days. The main culinary attraction was provided by Gourmand International’s Cookbook Corner, which displayed winning books from their 2012 Gourmand Awards alongside various cookbooks from across the world.
Le Cordon Bleu Teaching Chef Eric Bédiat featured at the Gourmand Cookbook Corner to demonstrate Stuffed Quail and Somtum for an audience of food enthusiasts. This gave spectators a sense of what students experience whilst studying at Le Cordon Bleu London. Also featured was award winning Indian Chef Mridula Baljekar, who visited the London school on the closing day of the fair to demonstrate three of her dishes for students.
Alumni and current students from the London school were invited to assist with all demonstrations that took place during the fair, highlighting the stature of the school within the capital and the wider industry.
