Le Cordon Bleu UK Scholarship Award 2011:

Got the passion? If you are aged between 16 and 19 then this is your chance to win a scholarship to study at Le Cordon Bleu London and earn your Le Grand Diplôme. In just 9 months, Le Grand Diplôme students learn all the classic French techniques in Cuisine and Pâtisserie, progressing from Basic to Superior level over the course of 3 terms. Working with our expert master chefs, students receive the guidance and hands-on knowledge they need to obtain their Le Cordon Bleu Grand Diplôme - their ‘passport to the culinary world’.

While Le Cordon Bleu London does not provide financing for courses or programmes, we do offer scholarship opportunities: The (IACP) Foundation Scholarship Awards Programme and The James Beard Foundation Scholarship Programme.

1. The International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) Foundation Scholarship Awards Programme
– The International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) Foundation Scholarship Awards programme provides financial assistance to individuals pursuing or furthering their career in the culinary arts. The award selection is based on merit, food-industry work experience and financial need.
– The IACP offers one full-tuition credit for a 11-week Basic Pâtisserie certificate course.

2. The James Beard Foundation Scholarship Programme
– The James Beard Foundation Scholarship Programme provides financial assistance to individuals pursuing or furthering their career in the culinary arts.
