| Le Cordon Bleu at the Paris Cookbook Fair |
| Le Cordon Bleu will be at the third annual Cookbook Fair at the CENTQUATRE from March 7 - 11 with China and Brittany as this year's guests of honor. |
|
| For 5 days, prestigious chefs, writers, photographers and publishers from all over the world will gather at the Cookbook Fair with the aim of promoting culinary exchange and facilitating networking. |
This year, Michelin starred Chef Michel Roux, - one of the best known personalities in French haute cuisine – is President of the fair. A UK resident since 1967, his first restaurant, the famous London establishment Le Gavroche was awarded three stars by the Michelin Guide. The Waterside Inn in Bray followed in 1972. It has held three stars for 27 years. During the fair, Chef Michel Roux will present his autobiography Life is a Menu, both a recipe book and an in-depth look at the world of cuisine. |
| The inauguration of the Paris Cookbook Fair will take place at the CENTQUATRE on Wednesday March 7. Drinks sponsored by producers and partners from Chile and Brittany will be served by students from Le Cordon Bleu Paris. |
| Our publications – aimed at both professionals and amateurs – have been awarded numerous prizes in France and abroad. They have been translated into more than 18 languages and have sold almost 14 million copies worldwide. Visit the Le Cordon Bleu stand at the Cookbook Fair to find out more. |
| Le Cordon Bleu will present its most recent book, Somtum, nominated for the Gourmand Cookbook "Best in the World" award. The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday March 6 at the Folies Bergères. Students from Le Cordon Bleu Paris will assist in the service of a drinks buffet under the supervision of Chef Philippe Clergue, Chef Instructor at Le Cordon Bleu. Every year, four Le Cordon Bleu students also join the jury selecting the winners of the Gourmand France awards, including the "Le Cordon Bleu Students Prize". |
